Caritas Group Practice - Woodside Surgery

Incredibly rude receptionist. My wife had to make a call to cancel an appointment. When trying to rearrange my wife was met with a response the defies belief. Told to stop asking questions that related to the new appointment and that the call should’ve ended a minutes ago. This is not the first time we’ve had issues with this pathetic excuse for a doctors surgery. The point of contact for patients is appalling

Been with caritas for 7 years and they were never good but continue to get worse and worse. The receptionist at Woodside is rude, abrupt and unhelpful, even to people who could clearly use understanding and compassion. The new Dr googles everything she is told, which is unnerving that she seems to know so little and relies on google. They say one thing and do another or sometimes nothing, which isn't a new thing but also getting worse. Its bad how little care and professionalism they show. I'm sat in the waiting room now and yet again, the tone of the receptionist to patients is lazy and unprofessional and its the same every time you see her. However, she perks up when speaking to colleagues. We can all hear this in the waiting room, its just rude. This place and all of their surgeries need retraining, empathy or closed down.

I moved to this surgery almost 2 years ago and have found them to be fantastic. The care navigation staff and friendly and helpful with great communication, and every clinician i've seen has been compassionate, understanding and made appropriate referrals every time. Recently I was expecting a call back but my phone network was down, I expected to have to go through the whole process again but I had my call on a Sunday evening! Of course it can be challenging to get an appointment sometimes but that's the case at every surgery due to the underfunding of the NHS. I'm really grateful for the care i've received.

Absolutely appalling service, you get fobbed off at every opportunity. I have been waiting 3 months for a private assessment to be finalised. They inputted incorrect information and referred my teenage son for a gynecology appointment instead of his ECG results. Avoid at all cost, I will be changing surgeries at the first opportunity

This practice needs closing down, reception staff don't care you never ever get to speak to a doctor it's always a pharmacist. I had an ECG done on the 11th April was told I'd get results in a week it's now 8th of may I've heard nothing although I was told by a pharmacist over the phone my results were in. If the best patients get is a phone call with pharmacist what on earth are the doctors doing all day, working from home??
