Horne Street Health Centre

My husband had an appointment for respitatory at 4 pm but we got there at 4.04 pm due to traffic and we were told that the doctor is strict and doesn't allow more than 5 mins, so he has been marked DNA and is with another patient so will not see him. We are now here the next day and have been waiting for 15 mins buts that's ok with them as long as it's them that see you late not you arriving late. What a joke. My husband has various health conditions and has had 2 heart attack previously. One attack happening after being ill with similar symtoms. I will be lodging a complaint with my surgery. Fat lot of good it will do. Think this is just another excuse for them not to see you! P.s. Luckily seen by a different doctor who was really nice

AVOID AT ALL COSTS Their system is totally useless. Ignorant and rude reception staff who don't have a clue what they are doing. I would feel embarrassed with the reviews if I were one of the doctors.

I have never had a problem here. Best doctors I have ever been to. Lovely doctors and nurse. Staff behind reception have always been so nice to me. I felt really comfortable coming here. Always got an appointment straight away and they were always so kind to help me no matter what. Unfortunately I have had to move far away and I will miss going here. Keep up the good work everyone.

Just been for a check of my breathing can’t have it if you had a chest infection 6 weeks or less it’s Friday 6 weeks is Monday they won’t do the check so now I have to come back in a week you would have thought my doctor would have known this I’m disabled so it took a lot to get all the way to Halifax from lightcliffe they could have done the check it’s only a couple of days off 6 weeks 🤬

Hi I attended the walk-in centre this morning. I had to wait less than an hour to be seen by the Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP). I felt that the wait was very acceptable. I would just like to express my appreciation to both the receptionist staff Marion and the ANP Yvonne as the care I got was exemplary . It was very friendly and extremely professional. Thank you
