Lister Lane Surgery

Unfortunately my interaction with the receptionist was not handled well. She came across as rude and intimidating. She did not seem interested in listening to me. Her tone was dismissive as if she was speaking to a child. She also did not let me know when she had finished assisting me instead she started speaking to the next person while I was still standing there, unsure whether the conversation had ended. The experience left me feeling very uncomfortable and undervalued.

Firstly the last time I visited my gp in person, I was judged horrendously, I had problems with my joints and the Doctor did not even ask to look at the affected areas, blamed my weight as well as told me to exercise more, even after I stated I worked full time and exercised daily. "Well if you don't get up and moving it can make your joints hurt" Direct quote. I have a long standing problem, it is hard to loose weight after gaining it, which my doctor should know. After that incident, I thought nevermind, and tried booking a triage call, I booked it weeks ago and was waiting for it, for no one to ring me. I looked up on the NHS website for my appointment and it said they tried calling me the day before my appointment at 8:30am, which I have no calls or email from my gp for that time either. So they changed my appointment time without telling me and didn't even call for the changed appointment. There's no use trying to call the line is always busy, and when you work full time you cannot be waiting in the queue. Just severely disappointed, and they should stick to the appointment time they gave me to begin with, or at least gave me notice that they were changing it. How am I meant to know now if I make another appointment (that I will be waiting weeks on) that the same thing won't just happen? Wish there was a way of contacting someone without having to wait in a phone queue, but instead a messaging system.

Absolute joke, I’m with nursery lane surgery and I am really ill with no energy, I think I have an infection of some sort but they sent me to a surgery far away from where I live. My mum also has the same illness I do and she was the call after me and got offered an appointment at the surgery I had just been told had nothing until tomorrow, so they just straight up lied to me over the phone, terrible surgery

Poor patient care. They don't care about patients or the pain they are undergoing and she the ego. Dr. Mohammad refused to see when I was 3 mins late as it took time to park and come in crutches. Tried ringing the practice was on hold for 20 mins, even when I arrived receptionist checked in me 5 mins late as she was on call. Even after requesting to be seen due to me emergency need , I was blatantly refusing from seeing. I am a health care professional myself and have not seen a doctor with such a lower patient care before. Strongly advise anyone booked with the clinic to reconsider registering elsewhere. Would lodge a formal complaint on the injustice done to me.

This GP practice should be closed down. They are beyond incompetent. Sending repeat prescriptions twice to a pharmacy in Nottingham and Leicester. Contacting them is a joke. The Receptionists are rude and unprofessional and need a course in customer service. You ring and are cut off as soon as you reach number 1 in the queue.
