I have always had excellent medical care and treatment at The Boulevard medical Practice. Staff are very professional, caring and listen well to patients. They quickly make referrals for further investigations where needed. I find it really convenient that there are different ways to contact the surgery when I need to especially Patches when I don't need a face to face appointment. I am very grateful for the excellent care I receive.
The GPs are excellent. Professional, knowledgable, supportive and approachable. The Snr Pracs are also very good. However, the same cannot be said of the administrative staff. My personal experience over the last 2/3 years has been that of an abundance of incompetent mistakes, consistent beligerant & dismissive gatekeeping & appalling patient service. My personal experience of attempting to highlight the multitude of mistakes over recent years, is heightened by the total lack of patient engagement with the alleged Operations Manager, together with Practice Manager. They do not even acknowledge receipt of my letters! I have verbally told administrative personnel on 6 occasions, together with 2 letters, that I CANNOT receive messages via PATCHS and have not received a PATCHS message since May, 2025, and I am STILL told 'READ PATCHS MESSAGE'. I feel it begs the enduring question of "What exactly is taught in the weekly training sessions???" No Issues whatsoever can be resolved with the front line administrative staff who are 'supposedly there to 'serve' patients!!! Appalling administrative practice from front line public sector staff.
Private services unwilling to help in anyway shape or form unless it benefits them. Getting a face to face appointment regardless of the problem is impossible. I have never been so disappointed in an NHS service in all my life.
Doctors and nurse practitioners are very good. However Every Time I have to go see one I have to wait,wait,wait long past my appointment time.when many Others,seem to wait just minutes. This last time I got there 5 mins early,And after waiting and seeing Doctor and waiting for prescription I was in there 80 minutes.Just not on.
Absolutely disgusting, still on hold after been disconnected after 1 hour 45 mins, rude inexperienced receptionist. Couldn't trace bloods that were requested for my youngest. On hold frequently to then be disconnected because claiming to not hear me. I have had enough of this practice its one issue after another. No care no idea how to run a surgery. Docs are unable to give information you need follow ups are not done. Left frustrated pained and terrible stress. This cant continue surely
