I had an appointment a few weeks ago wuth the younger stylist. Had to wait an extra half an hour since she was behind which is understandable but not ideal. She started by washing my hair which was fine but it all went bad when styling started. My hair is curly and long which she could clearly see when I came in. However when doing my hair, I could continuously hear her sigh and huff making me feel bad even though it is her job. She struggled to brush it even though it could’ve easily been done if she actually tried instead of forcing herself to dry it. My hair was blow dried by now and it was time to straighten it. She struggled to pass the straightener through and tried to force it instead of brushing it. Barely any of my hair was straightened except for little pieces, meaning my hair was mostly frizzy and wavy from the blow dryer. Another customer came in and she began to rush my hair, not even giving me what I wanted. I asked for a v cut, showed her a reference picture too, and left me with a straight cut which I didn’t ask for. She left my hair barely styled and when I told her it wasn’t exactly what I asked for in the politest way, she told me the cut I asked for “looked stupid” even though it was what I wanted and is a very popular cut especially for a girl with curly hair. I ended up paying full price too. The cut was only £30 pounds which isn’t too much however I shouldn't have paid full for a barely half done job. She did cut my hair but not in the style I asked for, told me it looked stupid even though it was what I wanted, and left my hair half done. It was clear she wasn’t used to my hair type and she could’ve said something instead of not finishing the job. Would not go there again. Thanks

Halos is the perfect place for hijabis. As a muslim women they are so caring and make you feel so comfortable. They take me upstairs where there is more privacy. They do a brilliant job on my hair everytime. My daughters sisters and nieces all use these guys. They are fab.

Professional service in a modern salon. Donna has been my hairdresser for over 20 years & its lovely to see her in her own establishment. Also pop in regularly for a blow dry by other members of the team. They do a fantastic job & are friendly & welcoming.

So i had an appointment 1day ago from this review, it was booked in with Georgina! (Stylist) 🙄firstly the lightings is so bad ! I only wanted a trim as well my hair feathering from the front! So firstly the salon wasn’t clean, because the owner was on holiday (Donna).Georgina was continuously asking the young worker to fix the music because they had a wifi issue, she started cutting my hair and feathering my hair she was so hyper but her hand were continuously shaking, my length is not even levelled it up and down, the feathering is cut off more then it should be! Then to cover her mistake she tried curling in my hair from front, so i don’t t realise ! Seriously!i dont know how they booked me in with someone who is so paranoid and doesn’t not have steady hands! Seriously this is my hair! It’s what gives me my self confidence and yes is the owner want to see the job of her professional stylist has done to my hair, i am more then happy to come in ! At the end she offer me a free trim, like if I’m trusting her or that place again! Botched up job ! Thanks
