Beechwood Medical Centre

I have only recently become a patient at Beechwood Medical centre And I must say I am more than happy with the service they provide, I was a bit wary of having to change my Doctor due to moving house but I have received very good advice and appointments when needed at Beechwood Medical Practice

I had a face to face appointment today with Dr T Hussain. He took time to listen and go through my concerns and explained things. He was running late before me and certainly after me, but I really appreciate that he did take time, as it meant I was reassured.

My boyfriend went for what he thought was his diabetes check up today but all they did was take a urine sample and a blood sample, this wouldn’t be an issue but he cannot order his prescription until he has had his medical review which was booked for the 25th September for some reason(the medical review is also a phone call which i think is insane). It is the 12th august(i’m loving the sense of urgency they have for something so serious). They don’t even give him enough medication for that amount of time and he’s been without some of it for a week already which has in turn made him ill. When he brought up the fact he NEEDS his prescription like now the doctor he had today told him she doesn’t really understand the medication side of diabetes so the best thing to do is to go to the front desk and ask them. i’m sorry what?? you as a doctor don’t have an understanding of something you probably need to have an understanding of, as diabetes isn’t something you can just wing and hope for the best. This place is absolutely atrocious and i wouldn’t recommend them at all to anyone if you have any issues at all

I've only visited this medical centre once, but I must say, I was impressed with the level of professionalism shown by the nurses. They were very courteous and took the time to listen to my concerns before proceeding with the necessary treatment. The waiting area was clean and tidy, and the appointment started promptly. Although I can't speak for the overall service, based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this medical centre for anyone seeking medical attention. The staff here seem to be knowledgeable and efficient, which is exactly what you want in a healthcare setting. Overall, I left feeling satisfied with the care I received and wouldn't hesitate to come back if needed in the future.

I registered with Beechwood 2 years ago after moving. I have NEVER struggled with an appointment. Calls get answered and they try to accommodate. The receptionist asks questions but don't try diagnose, they look for an appropriate appointment for your needs. I've had tests done, they follow up with the results. The doctors are really good and explain everything. Can't fault them at all.
