A great claims experience. I telephoned the claims department and Tyler asked me a few simple questions and that was that. No fuss just good service. My claim was settled the same day that I sent in an invoice for replacement. I would certainly recommend this company for anyone looking to insure their belongings

Ive been with Covea through Dead Happy for 7 years on my life insurance policy until D.H went into administration. They were great and everything was smooth, it’s a shame they shut down. But 3 months into taking over from Dead Happy and all of a sudden i get a letter in the mail that my policy has been cancelled because i did not pay. Well i dont usually pay theres a direct debit and they failed to collect it on month 4. So how is that my fault? And why do Covea only know to communicate with letters in the mail have they not heard of phones and email? I have tried many times to reach out and change my benficiary and they said they dont do that. It just goes to next of kin. Although with Dead Happy I had a beneficiary and also additional things such as a small payout to person x and another to person y etc. But since I have no ability now to see anything about my policy online, and customer support was a nightmare, maybe it’s for the best that they cancelled this policy themselves, and that way ill continue with the other company im working with, who is doing it properly. Covea seem to be stuck in the 70’s. They said i should request the policy be sent in the mail to see what it entails. Even the transition from Dead Happy to Covea was explained greatly by D.H but Covea was quite mysterious and shady about everything. After reading recent reviews, maybe I should thank them for this decision.

I'd give no stars if I could. Someone drove into my car whilst it was parked outside my house, my car then shunted forward into my partners car, we were both asleep in bed at the time. Thankfully no one was hurt. All 3 cars written off. My partner and I started negotiations through our insurance. I received a call from Covea who wanted to deal directly with me, they told me it would work out cheaper for them regarding rental car etc.... What a mistake that was. They made me a derisory offer for my written off car, I rejected it, then they made a slightly improved offer which I reluctantly accepted. They insisted the rental car had to be returned within 7 days of the first offer, meaning it had to be returned the day after the second offer. They left me with no car, my 17 year old daughter who works part time after college has had to get taxi's home from work at 11pm and I have been restricted with my own travel and had to cycle from work. Meanwhile, my partner received a decent offer and kept the rental car until she her offer had been settled and she has got a new car now. 2 weeks later and I'm still without a car. Next time I will continue with my own insurance and steer clear of covea. The settlement amount is not enough to buy a replacement car for me so now I've had to resort to taking out a credit card in order to afford one!! Thanks for nothing covea!!

My claim was handled quickly and a date for repairs given once an assessment of the damage carried. I was kept informed when my car would be collected snd the courtesy car delivered. Repairs carried out quicker than forecast.

I thought I’d review this company on the speed of judgment so far, it’s been (at the point of review) 3 weeks since my roof blew off from storm damage, 2 roofers recommended the rest of the roof to be taken off to be able to repair the damages to the felt underneath and also ensure each tile is nails back on to ensure it’s back to full strength. I got 2 quotes as requested and the insurance said, basically is there a way it can be patched and to get 2 more quotes to have it patched. Bearing in mind I’ve got a hole in the roof and if we have a downpour the water goes right though from the 4th floor to the ground floor. I replied to the email explaining this in depth and I got another email back saying they aim to reply within 2 days.(automated reply) 5days on and still no reply. I’m questioning why we even have insurance at this point because it seems it’s just a con..
