Asian man behind the till had the personality of a stale poppadom. No hello, no smile, no thank you, better off working in the back office than a customer facing position.

Today I looked on Google for price of Diesel and it can up to be at 142.9 at this place but when I got there they wanted 144.9 which is a ripoff as they gave the wrong price advertised as to actually was at the station when I told the cashier this she just looked through me as if I was saying something odd, anything else if you advertise it at a certain price you have to owner that but here she just ignored me.

Not the cheapest in the area (Asda in Huddersfield and Tesco in Brighouse are generally 5p per litre cheaper) but handy if low on fuel and shopping in Sainsbury's.

I ended up in one of those positions we all do at some point. I'd used my card already that day (tap and pay) and card failed because it requested card insert and pin inputting. Obviously I couldn't remember the pin! 🙄 I found the pin written in my wallet within a minute or so and £90 promptly got paid. I only went to try the Sainsbury's Super Unleaded (miles out of my way) as I drive a high powered car (V6) and I won't use normal 10% ethanol Unleaded as it can damage the car. The till operative was rude, short, ignorant and didn't appear to want to deal with customers, shaking his head when he thought I wasn't looking stating I "didn't have enough money." I'll stick to filling up £90 a week with Tesco Momentum 99 in future. If that was a member of my staff, I'd ask them to have a little understanding and patience. It must happen multiple times per day anyway. If the situation was reversed I'd smile and assure the customer it was okay - not immediately judge and make someone feel bad. The whole transaction only took a minute longer than it would have. Prior to this, the till operatives were discussing things about customers openly which immediately aired unprofessionalism. Some things are just common sense that I didn't need my business management degree for to work out. I've been here before in the past and never really liked it but as stated, I thought I'd give their Super Unleaded a go and thought things may have improved. The car wash wasn't open and for some reason, the station seems to attract miscreants on the rare occasion I've been whom of which I darent even make eye contact with. Never, ever again.
