The most disgusting staff in the world. Rude and unpleasant. They are the reason online shopping is popular! Who needs that when all you want to do is buy something.

Newsagent, stationer and bookshop. Decent range of magazines and cards but not the most extensive range of books and much more limited in the other lines they stock since turning over a large part of the store to a post office. Service can be a bit slow but they do have self-service checkouts. Not great but not bad either.

Went in to by a paper , took me a while to find them , then I went to the counter to pay the person behind the counter (who wasn't serving anyone else) directed me to the self service machine. For God's sake I'm 63 & a technophobe ! Why couldn't just take my money & give me the change ? The Lady did help me negotiate the self service machine but what's wrong with a bit of old fashioned service at the counter 😠

I called into the post office to post a parcel and was told I could not buy a posting box or bag there, I had to buy this at the WHSmith desk at the other end of the store. I duly did this, went back to post my parcel and was told the post office was shut. When I challenged this this a very helpful member of staff did stay and help me post the item. This is though a ridiculous system and dreadful customer service
