This is the loveliest bookshop around. For a small bookshop it has the most amazing selection of books. They really support local writers including Benjamin Myers. I have visited many times and each time I go, I get lost in the books. My daughter is reading English at university and always walks out with an arm full of books. The staff are absolutely lovely and are so knowledgeable about the books, events, writers etc. We had a lovely chat with them. I’m a primary school teacher and they generously gave me some posters and book marks to help encourage the love of reading in my school. This is such a gem of a place to go. Support independent bookshops, it would be a crying shame if we lost amazing places like this.

An absolute gem of a Bookshop. Well stocked with helpful, friendly staff. I got several signed copies of novels by Benjamin Myers here. Don't buy from Amazon. Support your local bookshop.

Love book shops, especially local independent ones. The staff here are great, polite, and helpful too. If your book is not in stock, they can get it in for you. There's a decent selection here for all age ranges too. I'd definitely recommend visiting if in the area, it's based in the Piece Hall too :)
