Purchased some of their 'lower water content' bacon a couple of weeks ago. Quite literally the best bacon I've ever tasted. Sausages too, perfect. Great service to boot. So I went back last Friday and got more. Best to make sure! I know where this family will be getting it's Christmas meat from. Many thanks folks!

Bought over £100 of meat, steak, gammon lamb chops. The gammon was lovely so was the lamb chops but the steak was so tough it had to go in the bin would not buy any meat from they it must have been about £50 worth put in the bin shame as he was a nice guy

We’ve been about 5 times to this shop, we’ve bought steaks, sausages, turkey crowns, mince etc and always been reasonably pleased, but recently we’ve found the steaks to be tough and this week the chicken breasts were half the size they should be, they actually look like one cut into two pieces, hardly enough for 2 people and we are both pensioners. The mince is good quality but isn’t cheap. On another note the guy who served us wasn’t interested at all, they are normally quite helpful but not on this occasion. When someone has to add up on a piece of paper what does that tell you. I will be going elsewhere I’m afraid, on this occasion we felt let down both by the quality of meat and poor service.

Have bought sirloin steaks from here before and they were really nice. However purchased some sirloins recently and they were tough as anything. Cooked medium and were quite honestly the worst and toughest steaks I have ever eaten, stewing steak would have been more edible. Not sure if it was a supplier issue or mishap but has put me off getting any from here again I am sorry to say.

Good meat, but I have had three large tubs of potted meat that were so hard they would not spread on bread. They just tore the bread apart. Sadly I won’t be buying anything else from there.
