Lovely shop but lady serving has been rude twice. She seemed to enjoy saying that her reserve list for rare items is just for her friends or customers she is friendly with. We have brought from the shop previously but she chose not to care about that. Feedback is treat everyone equally

Brown Paper Packages is a lovely gift shop located in the Piece Hall in Halifax. The shop is full of pretty gifts and small home accessories, all made by local and national artisans. The owner is very friendly and helpful, and she is always happy to make recommendations. I recently visited Brown Paper Packages in search of a birthday gift for my friend. I was immediately drawn to the beautiful selection of Jellycat toys. I also found some great home accessories, such as a set of fused glass coasters and a wooden memo board. I was very happy with my purchase from Brown Paper Packages. The gifts were beautifully wrapped, and the owner even included a handwritten note. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone looking for unique and thoughtful gifts.

Travelled miles to visit here and there's a sign on the day saying "closed today"!!! Totally disgusting!! Says it's open on Google, Facebook and Instagram and not advertised closed anywhere else. Abysmal service.
