My partner returned some items which weren't as they should be. They tasted really stale and she asked for a refund. The staff were completely unhelpful and belittling. We won't be returning and I'd be aware if you have problems with any purchases you will probably get a rude response. Really poor customer service.

Be very aware that some of the dates products could be several months out of date and are inedible. I give you the example of Budweiser buffalo chicken wing nuts 7 months out of date and were horrible. Timtams were soft and disgusting. On the positive side, the crisps were nice, still crunchy and tasty. Just avoid the cheap very out of date products and you should be fine.

Always get really well stocked up when we visit, some absolute bargains. A lot of things are short dated/ passed before dates but never had any issues and all perfectly good to consume. Tried a more local cash and carry recently and ended up going straight over to Barry's straight after as it wasn't a patch on their prices #Barrys100 Kat Platt

I love visiting here especially all the bargains. I couldn’t believe my eyes they had my favourite handwash Molten Brown and it certainly was a bargain I usually pay alot more. The staff are lovely and friendly will certainly be visiting again.#Barrys100 Jane Colbeck

The most friendly and full shop in Halifax. Ever since being introduced to Barry’s a few years back, I have never had a bad service from the staff. Customer service skills are spot on. There is always plenty of stock, good luck if you find a gap! Reasonably priced, nothing ever been overpriced in my opinion. Very supportive of local community litter picking teams. ToniMfcHolmes
