Excellent shop; Al is lovely. I could spend hours in here. I visit every time I go to the Piece Hall and take all my friends. I took some family there from Barbados and Al kindly gave our friend an old cigarette lighter because he had not yet valued it, and because it was not 100% working. A lovey gesture and a good memory for our friend.

Lovely shop with huge selection of items to look through. Very polite, friendly and helpful owners. Definately would recommend going in on your next trip to the piece hall!

I have been a cabinet holder for nearly 4 years. I used to call in in for a browse before this and usually ended up purchasing something lovely. Me and my husband used to visit a previous shop which Al and Simone had before Al’s Emporium. Always friendly and really excellent customer service. Nothing too much trouble. I have read some of the negative reviews of which I find unbelievable and horrified. Al and Simone are a focused family who are doing what ever body is aiming to do. Earning a living and working damned hard to do so. I have never had a problem with and will continue to support them as they support me. They do a fantastic job. None of the cabinets have “junk” in as some have mentioned. Everyone’s taste is different. God help us if we were all the same. Thank you Al and Simone xxxx

We visit Al's every four weeks. Al & his partner are always friendly. Their shop is immaculately clean. The stock is reasonably priced and changes frequently. Antique books, furniture and collectables are the main items on offer. Part of the Piece Hall in Halifax, I can't think of a better shop in the whole town!
