You have two minutes before you get a £100 fine at this station, utter disgrace I will never visit Shell garage ever again. This petrol station should be boycotted….. appealed about unclear signage was asked to go to court……. This is what I got: You stopped the vehicle in a no stopping zone. As per the signage, there is 'no stopping at all '. We do have a 2-minute grace period in place to allow drivers time to read the signage and move their vehicle. As you were observed for a duration which exceeds this allowance, you are liable for a PCN. There is clear signage around the site which indicates the terms. All our signs and sites go through a strict IPC audit process before we are authorised to issue PCNs. With this in mind, I am fully satisfied to say there was sufficient signage in and around the site. By entering and/or remaining on the land, the driver has agreed to abide by all the contractual terms and conditions that apply there. A breach of any of such terms and conditions results in the driver being liable for a £100 PCN, as per the signage. It is the responsibility of the driver to ensure they have read and understood the terms and conditions on site.

On 14/12/25 at 23:40 i had a very bad experience at customer service, no manners how to talk to customer, no etiquette .. i will not recommend this station for filling because of bad behaviour

Stopped to get a drink and check the sat nav. Next thing you know there's a £100 fine in the post. Avoid the place at all costs. Spend a fortune in this place on food, drinks and fuel for my 2 vehicles and won't ever use the place again. Cancel the fine or lose my business. Simple as

Boycott this petrol station immediately!! What ever you do do not park here at any point you will recieve a hefty fine and a CCJ if your not lucky. Gladstone solicitors will chase you for missed payments and then the courts will become involved and Gladstone don’t reply to your emails. Shocking petrol station do not use!!!!!!! Don’t even deserve 1 star

On the basis that they don't need your money, but you need their fuel, you might get served with a smile, not always, but sometimes. Oh, and someone is saving money too by NOT cleaning the pump dispensers, they are sticky, mucky and smell of fuel, it gets all over your hands every time. But hey - why pay someone to clean 'em when you can spend that money on a posh weekend away.
