Amazing service. Unfortunately my Mum passed away recently so we needed to clear her flat today. Brian and Mark were exceptional. Everything now clear. I hope that it generates income for a worthy Charity. 10/10 Richard 🤓

Dog owners beware, YMCA charity shop in Halifax. Called in this shop (which had only one customer in at the time) this Sunday afternoon and asked the male shop assistant if we were allowed to bring our little elderly dog into the shop, the simple answer was No. I said she is in a pram, again the answer was No, I said so you don’t allow prams into the shop then, his answer was yes we do but not with dogs in them. What on earth is the difference? No Empathy, No reason given whatsoever. Our little pug is loved and part of our family, she is elderly, unable to walk far, and half blind, she is very quiet and would not have caused any problem whatsoever and in-fact another charity shop close by welcomed us in and was astonished when I told her about the YMCA shops attitude. You do wonder the MINDSET of these organisations that after all is said and done depend on the generosity of public donations. I am compiling a list of all charity shops with this draconian attitude towards dogs. It’s ironic that we can dine in many establishments with our dog and yet some charity shops have this negative attitude towards them, even if in prams.

No signs on the door to say Dogs not allowed so we took our dog in (lots of charity shops let dogs in) one of the staff was very rude to us, referred to our dog as “it” and asked us to leave. Vile staff, wouldn’t return

The 2 women running the shop on the day I went in to enquire about a double bed couldn't have been more helpful or cheery! They helped me in every way possible and I had a smile on my face from walking into the shop until I was out and back home.

Not accessible for people with pushchairs or wheelchairs. They should add a ramp to make it accessible. Regardless good variety of items and friendly staff
