Excellent priced hotel, straight outside the train station. Me and my Wife booked in for the night as we were going to a show at the Victoria Theatre just 5 minute walk away. Very speedy check in and out. Clean, spacious and very comfortable. A good night sleep had by us both. Paid £44 for a Saturday night, whats not to like.

It cost £50 a night.. so its not going to be a 5 star hotel.. if your looking for a decent comfy bed for the night, situation in the heart of Halifax then that's what you get. Tea coffee in the room, shower& bath, good size TV. A little dated but all OK.

Great location opposite the train station. Bed comfy. Clean. Bathroom needs some attention the mixer shower was like something out of the 80s, flooring was discoloured and squeaky. But other than that a nice place to stay.

I didn't mind that the room was tiny. I didn't mind it was a single bed. I wasn't bothered that the TV had a broken stand so sat on the desk at a funny angle. It was the breakfast. Last time I stayed at the Imperial Crown, it was a standard hotel breakfast but on my last stay all there was , was bran flakes and a yogurt. I told them I was vegan. They had not plant milk so all I could have was factory bread and jam. I told them I was staying 2 nights and could they please get some oat milk in. They didn't so day 2 breakfast was bread and jam. Both morning a member of staff would show up, take note of my predicament then leave me in my own in the breakfast room. If I had not had the initiative to help myself to (black) coffee behind the bar, I would not have had any as I was not offered any.

I booked online, although the room was only £45 for the night it was very outdated, carpet was dirty, beds creaked, floor boards creaked, the bath tap got stuck and wouldn't turn off. Tiny little kettle, no hairdryer like it said. I was informed when checking in I had to pay an holding fee of £100 when I questioned it the member of staff was a little rude. The location is perfect but the hotel not so good. Would not stay again.
