Had a christening party at this place. It was very well done. The staff was great, the room was tidy and well set up for us. The parking is just over the road, but it's not for everyone. We didn't stay overnight because we were using the function room.
Just a little note to say thank you, again! We really enjoyed our brunch, service and friendliness today. Super glad we went back today. - Breakfast buns are delicious. The brioche is super soft and tasty. - Hash browns are MEGA crispy! - Coffee is genuinely delicious 😍 the creamy chocolate notes are top. - The team super attentive and friendly. Highly recommend but book in advance to avoid disappointment. Thank you!
Cheap and cheerful. Rooms are clean, bed comfy. Tea and coffee in room. Shared toilet and shower rooms and the the Boss, Jackie is lovely.
The location for the Piece Hall and town centre is perfect. Parking is very limited and awkward but there is a cheap Town parking opposite at only #9 a day. The rooms were basic but fine although being in the attic were very height restricted, having to sit on the floor to make a brew. All things considered fine for one night to go to the Piece Hall.
We stayed for one night for a gig at the Piece Hall. Location for such a trip is ideal, short walk from the venue and the town centre. There is parking at the rear, short walk from the bus and railway station too. Our room was clean, bed comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. I’ve only dropped one star because the rooms are very basic, not an issue in itself, but they have laminate floors throughout it means you get quite a lot of noise of people moving around above you, doors shutting, conversations etc. Fortunately I always travel with ear plugs. 😁 Other than that, its location makes it a decent choice for a short visit.
