This is a great little venue close to the Piece Hall. Hard working landlord who really cares about his customers/ business and trying to continually improve things. Good atmosphere, music and nice decor (opulent boudoir feel). Perfect for pre and post Piece Hall gigs. The only bad comments on here seem to be about the price. It is pricey, true. But at least it keeps out any undesirables…..I mean, in another comment, someone suggested going to the White Horse. All I would advise is, don’t! 😂
Fab atmosphere, good beers and right next to the piece hall so you can enjoy the music. Dog friendly beer garden and food shack does good burgers and chips 😋
Great place. Came here after the Deftones show in Piece hall and they kept the bar open late for us. Really nice barmen. Either they were twins or I was really pissed.
A great landlord and a very good pint of cider on .Been in a few times and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this superb boozer.
Just nipped in for a drink.. lovely pub & excellent location for the Piece Hall.
