Lovely club, nice tables, relaxed atmosphere. Really enjoyed playing for a few hours yesterday. I wasnt hungry, but there was a food menu that seemed very reasonable. I'd definitely recomend Halifax Snooker Club. Also had a pool area if you prefer pool 👌
Played Snooker with son at the venue last night 19:00-21:00. Got home Leeds 22:15 found left a bag. Recovered the this morning. Last night, Tracy answered the phone in the bowling alley. Went up stairs to check for me. Today interacted with Rose in the Snooker Club "ironing tables" 👏👏 Spoke with Chris in the Alley. What lovely friendly, helpful people 🙏💙👍 Thank You all. Have a happy Xmas.
Always a good place to ease stress and meet people and socialize. More than enough pool and snooker tables, darts and bowling downstairs. Food is delicious also.
Love playing snooker here. Nice place, good polite people that run it. Reasonable pricing. Free parking not brilliant due to size and shared with ten pin bowling. Staffing at times (mainly mornings) is somewhat frustrating, can be stood around for 10 mins with no one to serve you. I don't like the monopoly of the match tables being booked up and used a lot for free by staff members, when paying members wish to play on them? Seems to make no business sense to me. 🤔They're the most expensive tables, a perk of the staffing job is actually to play for free on any table in the first place surely? I've even turned up and asked for a match table to be turned away from one with the response "its not booked out, but a member of staff might want it so you can't have it". (It was never used in my session of play). Most of the tables are in good nick, the day time deals make it real good value to play snooker and membership is next to nothing. A good place to play snooker.
Tables need new felt and cushions. Loads of tables (have seen and used better tables then here for the price but not got the same atmosphere), nice and quiet, bar, sell snacks and food, don't tell the wifes about it
