Lovely walk. Very relaxed and everyone I met was friendly. Took my dog who loved it - he’s very controlled (working dog) so being near the deer not an issue at all (else keep dog on a lead).
Vast open space for a park, we started at the muddy boots cafe , Honesty box parking which is a great idea.... Walked along the road, through the gate and into the country park.. Keep a eye in the sky as plenty of red kites visit this area.. Wildlife is abundant rabbits seem shy but robins are friendly... Fallow deer where in the bottom field.. We followed the road down to the river, where we saw various ducks ,a heron and in the next Field black sheep with the cutest lambs... On the way back, Thinking we'd missed the Red deer, they were all along the road grazing away quite happy with the public taking there photos...A great site met us back at the muddy boots cafe, 30/40 red kites showing off there aerial skills...
Park was just stunningly beautiful.
