R & S Motors

We had a flat going over a pothole on our way through Layburn. We took the car to them and they were able to fix it all in hours. Very nice staff and great work.

Had a few interactions with this garage and on those occasions I kept my thoughts to myself, but my recent contact I am no longer able to keep them withheld. They were contacted to obtain a quote for some urgent maintenance on my car. As with previous occasions, I was met with a very abrupt, surly and offhand telephone manner by the man who answered my call. He informed me that he would have to get back to me with the quote. My details were duly taken but as of yet, I have still not had a call. Whoever answered the call, needs lessons in customer service and not give the impression that they cannot wait to get off the phone. Due to the total lack of communication, I took my car to Middleham Motors, who not only came back to me with a quote the same day, but also got my car in for repairs and fixed in the same week. Needless to say, that Ben at Middleham Motors will regularly have our business and any further interactions with R and S will cease.

My battery failed this morning!! A great guy who I didn't know, got the car going and I was able to get to to R&S....Great service, friendly helpful staff, just terrific... Thank you to you all....no more walking to work ☺ was superb...
