Busy Bees at Harrogate South Drive

My son started at South drive in September and I cannot fault the girls there! They have put mine and my partners worries at ease about starting nursery. He goes in so happy in the morning and talks about the girls all the time. The manager, Samantha has been brilliant in supporting me and my partner understand things like funding etc! I would recommend South drive to any parents or expecting parents!

My son has been attending this nursery since he was six months old, he’s now two and is thriving. The nursery itself has a small and homely feel which is lovely. My son has a great bond with his key person and is always happy to go in. I like that they get out in the community a lot and always seem to be doing a variety of activities that my son enjoys.

From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that this nursery is more than just a childcare setting — it’s a place where children are truly celebrated, supported, and inspired. The team is warm, professional, and incredibly attentive, with a genuine passion for early years development. A special mention must go to Amy, whose kindness, creativity, and dedication shine through every day. She has built such a strong bond with our child, helping them grow in confidence and curiosity. Her ability to make each child feel seen and valued is truly remarkable. The nursery itself could do with a light renovation, but is safe, and full of engaging resources. Activities are thoughtfully planned to spark imagination and encourage learning through play — from sensory exploration and outdoor adventures to early literacy and social skills. Every day brings something new and exciting, and our child comes home full of stories and smiles. Communication with parents is excellent. We receive regular updates, photos, and insights into our child’s progress, which makes us feel involved and reassured. It’s clear that the staff take pride in their work and care deeply about each child’s journey. We’re so grateful to have found Busy Bees South Drive. It’s a place where children flourish, friendships blossom, and parents feel confident their little ones are in the very best hands. Highly recommended!

I definitely recommend busy bees south drive , my child started a few weeks ago now and they have settled in brilliant. The staff go above and beyond! Great communication and always welcoming at drop offs and pickups .

My Daughter came to this nursery from 8 months old until school age. She thrived in a smaller setting with all staff knowing and understanding her needs.
