Opening night was a great evening with gorgeous options on the menu! An exciting addition to the Harrogate food scene!!! The sharing plates we tried were generous, interesting and perfect a relaxed evening out! We will be back for sure!
Fantastic food! Such a lovely pub and now have a great menu. Top quality (eg I had Skye’s Farm lamb rump which was perfectly cooked and with beautifully done veg) but at sensible prices. The kale salad and mac cheese were also super tasty. And the chips…. Just wishing for plum crumble pudding as I write… can’t wait

The transformation is impressive — they’ve preserved the historic charm while adding a fresh, modern vibe that perfectly suits a family craft brewery. The beer selection is top-notch, featuring a great variety of locally brewed ales, lagers, and guest beers. Whether you’re a craft beer enthusiast or just looking for a relaxed spot to enjoy a drink, this place delivers. The outside seating gets the sun all evening!!! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming; a good mix of locals and visitors, all enjoying the cozy yet stylish brewery tap. It’s great to see a historic venue like The Old Bell brought back to life with such care and vision. The greatness of the taproom in Hookstone is brought to Harrogate town
