Nice little micro bar about 3 minutes walk from Starbeck Station. Friendly welcoming staff. I tried each of the two Daleside Ales (see photo). Both very good. They had another two Real Ales on as well. They have a nice little outside area with tables. Great in warm weather and/or if it is a bit busy inside. Very much worth dropping in, if only for a couple of beers.
This microbar coming up to its first anniversary is surely destined to become a regular entry in the Good Beer Guide it’s that good. Four well kept, locally brewed cask ales are on sale along with an amazing choice of bottled beers. Only a hop, skip and a jump away from Starbeck 🚂 station, there’s no excuse not to call in if visiting either Knaresborough or Harrogate - you will not be disappointed. Must also mention the welcoming bar-staff and friendly regulars. So glad I took a punt on calling in here 👍🏻
A great little drinking establishment.. I generally go early with the kids.. no food. So no score.. good beers local and niche..
Came in with my wife the other day after lunch and a walk, service was friendly and good to talk too (younger guy with tattoos), and the beer selection was impressive. Enjoyed the visit and will be returning👍
