Popped in hoping for a healthy lunch. Lovely choices of salads. Nice buzzy atmosphere. We had tuna nicoise - just lovely; simple and fresh and generous size. Brought out a truffle mayo for us to go with it which was amazing! We love their flat whites here but also had iced blueberry matcha and one with avocado in... We loved both 😍
Went in for a spontaneous lunch while out for my dad's birthday. My sister got a bagel which she enjoyed and my dad and his girlfriend both got soup which again they enjoyed. They got a ham and cheese croissant to share to dip which was nice however would have been enjoyed more if offered warm. I got the pie and mash. The filling of the pie was lovely and the top of the pastry was okay. The mash was dry and not very enjoyable and the rest of the pasty was basically raw. I are as much as I could because I was so hungry but sorry someone that loves stodgy pastry but that was just uncooked. No one asked how the food was when they cleared the plates. The place itself was nice whith a little shop on the inside selling lots of different bits!
Having visited several times for coffee, cake and sandwiches, we enjoy the ambience and music and find staff friendly. The owner Rod goes out of his way to give great service. We decided to try the Feta and watermelon salad for a change which came with avocado on soda bread. We could not believe how delightful it was, both on the eyes, and to eat, the flavours were so fresh and well complimented. Will definitely have this again. Please give this lovely cafe a try and you will always be looking forward to your next visit. All in all - Superb!
All show, no substance. Pastries were great, but a strange 20% added to the food prices shown. Posh beans, is just beans on toast. A pitiful amount of smoke salmon in the bagel. The spanakopita did not taste good. Just the worst cutlery in the world.
What an excellent place. Beautiful pastries, perfect fresh avocado on toast, great coffee. The pies looked fantastic. Had a nice chat with the owner who clearly understands food quality as well as design. Highly recommended.
