Really good experience , varied menu , wide choice of food available, excellent drinks. We enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. Large comfortable restaurant with great views outside . A great experience and would highly recommend eating here. It's situated inside a hotel so rooms are available , lovely heated patio area which was very busy on an extremely cold January day. Large bar area as well as the restaurant which was very lively and welcoming. Staff were excellent, very good service, friendly and welcoming.

Loved it, just called in by chance. The food, it was Sunday, so rude not to have a roast. The Beef was cooked to perfection, with a nice pinkish centre, the Large Yorkshire puddings were as good as my wifes, which are the best, sorry Chef, but she feeds me more than you and I value my life. The vegetables were cooked by an expert who knows that the should be crisp, yet slightly crunchy, but cooked all the way through. I could carry on writing for pages about the Cauliflower cheese, the gravy, the roast potatoes and the dessert, but I won't, I'll just say go, you won't regret it. We didn't!

Sunday lunch. We booked a table in the restaurant for party of four adults. which I would highly recommend. The restaurant is absolutely stunning with a warm welcome and a warm buzzing atmosphere. The waiters were very friendly smiley happy and very knowledgeable with regard to the menu and the drinks. The food came out , it was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection! The pork had proper cracking and tasted great! We did have to ask for extra gravy (Note to many restaurants- Great deep Yorkshire Puddings need to be filled with gravy :-))) which came seamlessly. All in all a beautiful Sunday lunch excellent beer menu and service second to none. We would highly recommend and we'd definitely return!

Always worth a pint as this place is amazing. Very friendly staff and packed with customers so a great festive atmosphere. Not many places left where you can get hand pulled Tetley bitter. The beer prices are very reasonable.
