Lovely Japanese restaurant with the best sushi I've ever eaten, I'll never have shop bought again. The crab sushi was especially excellent, service was amazing and extremely polite and the atmosphere was amazing. The Mrs had a kimchi pork bibimbap and she loved that as well. Will come here next time I'm visiting.
Tucked away on a charming road in Harrogate, we discovered a true gem of a Japanese restaurant that transformed our rainy day into an unforgettable culinary adventure. Visiting from Lincolnshire and London, we were immediately welcomed into a warm atmosphere that promised a delightful escape. From the outset, the staff treated us like dear friends, their passion for food evident in every interaction. Their attentive, friendly service made us feel right at home. The waitress that served us (sorry we didn’t get your name!) was so welcoming, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely has such a warm persona. Now, about the sushi: we thought our local spot was the best, but this restaurant surpassed all expectations. Each piece was a handmade work of art—crafted with care and bursting with fresh, authentic flavours. The vibrant presentation made every dish a feast for the eyes. Leaving with our hearts full and taste buds dancing, we couldn’t help but plan our next visit. This delightful find ensures we’ll be coming back to Harrogate more often to indulge in the exquisite sushi that has set a new standard for us. If you’re in Harrogate, don’t miss this culinary treasure!
Had a really nice lunch here. The bento lunches were very reasonably priced. We got a bento each (5 of us) and a couple of sashimi lunches to share, and after drinks and tip it came to about £20 per person. We tried the tori kara (fried chicken pieces), tempura, spicy BBQ beef and teriyaki steak lunches. All were nice. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious too! We walked in and didn't have to wait for a table (it was 12:00 on a Tuesday though) but it got busier very quickly so I'd recommend phoning ahead to book a table. We really enjoyed it and will be coming back.
Such a beautiful little local restaurant. Their extensive sushi menu has everything you could want or ask for, all prepared freshly to order by their trained sushi chef. The service is phenomenal. Authentic Japanese approach to the service, where they are genuinely thankful for you being there and nothing would be too much to ask.
Stopped into this place with my wife on a short break away in Harrogate. The food and staff were both amazing. We started with the miso soup and a selection of fresh sushi (you can watch them prepare it) before moving on to soba noodle dish with a side of home made kimchi- amazing. Then to finish it off a couple vanilla mochi balls. The staff were very informative and helpful. If came to about £70’pot the two off us including a couple of beers and a pot of green tea. If you are in the area it’s definitely worth looking up. We’ll be back!
