The hubby and I went for a fantastic meal here last night and it didn’t disappoint! The Fillet steak deal is very, very good value and I have to say, it’s the best steak we’ve had in a long time. Each came with a sauce (included in price), so I opted for Port & Marmite…which was absolutely delicious and paired well with the steak. Hubby had peppercorn sauce which was equally as nice. We opted for started and the scallops were to die for, plump, incredibly well caramelised and seasoned well. Hubby had prawns - he was given the option to be shelled or de-shelled which was a nice touch. The ‘house’ wine was really nice, wasn’t expecting anything too fancy, but would drink it again and order it off the menu. The staff were so lovely, attentive without fussing and made you feel like you were part of the restaurant. Definitely returning to try some other dishes.
Very disappointing. Food was average and the restaurant had very odd ambience. The toilet was dirty. It used to be good but it seems there must have been a change in ownership. There are so many good restaurants in Harrogate to chose from don’t bother with this one.
First visit , tried the homemade lasagna which was really good, had an oat latte ( tasted a bit weak, but it might be just personal preference) . Had the soup of the day which i enjoyed the most ( it was a tomato and red pepper soup) . Staff was friendly and helpful I have been looked after.
Lovely cafe with super friendly owner. Great coffee, sandwiches and pastries. They do full lunches and dinners with very nice men.
Small independent restaurant serving tasty Italian food. The specials board is good. Fresh beetroot pasta filled with crushed chick peas and chilli served with wilted spinach and toasted pinecones. Spot on.
