This role is ideal for someone who excels in the administrative side of financial planning, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to remain in a long-term, senior administrative career within a stable and respected firm.</p> <strong>About the Role</strong> <p>As a Senior IFA Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting advisers and paraplanners, ensuring the smooth running of client processes and maintaining exceptional standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service. You’ll act as a senior member of the admin team, confidently managing complex cases and contributing to a high-performing workflow.</p> <p>The firm has a strong office-based culture, with hybrid working available after a successful probation period.</p> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> <ul> <li>Manage new business processing, valuations, and complex client documentation.</li><li>Maintain accurate client records and ensure all compliance requirements are met.</li><li>Liaise with clients, providers, and internal teams to support the full advice process.</li><li>Prepare meeting packs, illustrations, policy information, and technical documentation.</li><li>Support advisers and paraplanners with day-to-day and senior-level administrative tasks.</li><li>Work efficiently within a busy team environment, contributing to smooth workflow and high service standards.</li><li>Take ownership of more complex cases and act as a senior point of support within the admin function.</li></ul> <strong>Experience & Skills Required</strong> <ul> <li>Previous experience as an IFA Administrator or within a financial planning environment (senior-level preferred).</li><li>Strong understanding of pensions, investments, and financial planning processes.</li><li>Confident using industry systems such as Intelligent Office, Dynamic Planner, Iress Exchange, and paperless tools (e.g., Watermark/Papercloud).</li><li>Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage competing priorities.</li><li>Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable approach.</li><li>Comfortable working full-time in the office, with hybrid flexibility after probation.</li><li>Ability to handle complex cases and support junior team members when required.</li></ul> <strong>Salary & Benefits</strong> <ul> <li>Up to £38,000, depending on experience.</li><li>Opportunity to work from home one day per week after a 6-month probation period.</li><li>Supportive team environment with experienced administrators and paraplanners.</li></ul> <p><br /></p> <p><br /></p>
