Head of Finance

About the role Distinct are working with a fast-growing, entrepreneurial group business is looking for a Head of Finance to take full ownership of the finance function across multiple entities. The business spans property investment and services, and is scaling. This is a leadership role that's both strategic and operational. You'll be close to the directors, contributing to key decisions and have a direct and visible impact. What the role involves Full ownership of monthly management accounts across all group entities — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow Board pack preparation and presentation Cash flow forecasting and working capital management Financial modelling and due diligence for acquisitions Leading and developing a finance team Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation What we're looking for ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with 3+ years PQE Strong commercial mindset Confident presenting to and challenging at board level Analytical capability Systems and processes improvement experience Why consider it Influence over strategic decisions rather than just finance operations.
