Be a part of it.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>We are looking for a professional, confident<b> Ward Manager</b>&nbsp;who can lead, inspire &amp; oversee the delivery of the very best care.&nbsp;</p> <p>You’ll be working&nbsp;<b>38.5hours a week</b><b>at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate</b>. This is a&nbsp; long-established mental health hospital that provides an emergency admissions service across two acute wards. The service has a full Multidisciplinary team (MDT) including consultant psychiatrists, doctors, a therapy team including group and activities coordinators and nursing therapists. There are a range of therapies available and all service users can access a minimum of 25 hours’ therapy a week. There is a comprehensive programme of both group and individual therapies.</p> <p>Our team work closely and collaboratively with service users, their families and the referrer to provide a seamless pathway from referral to discharge.</p> <p><b>Your day-to-day…</b><br />You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week in an acute setting with mental health patients.<br />• Provide suggestions, proposals &amp; recommendations to the Hospital Manager aimed at the continued development of the ward<br />• Contribute &amp; participate in planned visits to the ward by professional visitors<br />• Initiate &amp; maintain a monitoring system in relation to professional nursing practice at unit level, including pin numbers &amp; the current registration of all qualified staff<br />• Ensure that the evaluation of service delivery is user (i.e. pati<br />ent, carer &amp; family) based<br />• Advise non-clinical staff within the hospital on management of patients with mental illness<br />• Ensure patients’ rights to confidentiality are respected &amp; that Cygnet Health Care &amp; professional policies are adhered to.<br /><br /><b>You are…</b><br />• Committed to delivering improvement strategies across all aspects of clinical service provision<br />• Familiar with an in-patient setting<br />• Experienced in managing change, leadership initiatives, motivating &amp; developing others<br />• Open, compassionate, honest &amp; resilient<br />• Capable of undertaking audits, developing, following-up &amp; ensuring completion of action plans<br />• Well-informed of the Mental Health Act &amp; the latest nursing practices<br />• Focused on patient recovery to monitor, manage &amp; reduce risk.<br /><br /><b>Why Cygnet?
