<p><strong>Private Client Paralegal</strong><br /><strong>Location:</strong> Harrogate<br /><strong>Position:</strong> Full-time, office-based<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> Dependent on experience</p> <p>A well-established and respected law firm in Harrogate is seeking a <strong>Private Client Paralegal</strong> to join its busy and supportive Private Client team on a full-time, in-person basis.</p> <p>This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with private client experience who is looking to develop their career within a high-quality and client-focused environment.</p> <strong>The Role</strong> <p>You will support fee earners across a broad range of private client matters, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assisting with the drafting of Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney</p> </li><li> <p>Supporting probate and estate administration files</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing documentation and correspondence</p> </li><li> <p>Liaising with clients in a professional and empathetic manner</p> </li><li> <p>Dealing with third parties such as HMRC, the Land Registry and financial institutions</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining accurate case files and using case management systems</p> </li><li> <p>General administrative support to the Private Client team</p> </li></ul> <strong>The Ideal Candidate</strong> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience as a Private Client Paralegal or Legal Assistant</p> </li><li> <p>Good understanding of Wills, Probate and Private Client procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organisational and time-management skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent attention to detail</p> </li><li> <p>Confident written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working in a busy, office-based environment</p> </li><li> <p>Able to work well as part of a team and use initiative when required</p> </li><li> <p>Strong IT skills, including experience with case management systems</p> </li></ul> <strong>What's on Offer</strong> <ul> <li> <p>Full-time, in-person role based in Harrogate</p> </li><li> <p>Salary dependent on experience</p> </li><li> <p>Supportive and collaborative working environment</p> </li><li> <p>Exposure to high-quality private client work</p> </li><li> <p>Opportunities for training and career development</p> </li></ul> <p>To apply or for a confidential discussion, please contact Stan at Simpson Judge Legal</p>
