It was by accident that I ended up in your hotel, and whilst the price was steep, the stay was high quality. The gentleman at reception was very welcoming which as a weary traveller who had just been overbooked at a previous hotel was just what I needed! The room was clean and very comfortable. I would have preferred a more generous amount of shower products after having been stripped of all such items at the airport but other than that the room was 5 stars. I will definitely stay again!! My one criticism is Tata tots instead of hash browns or as well as? I get that a lot of guests are from the airbase but to totally substitute them for hash browns lost a star. That and the first eggs of the service were already hard under the heat lamp. I was one of the first in, and leathery eggs aren't anyone's cup of tea. Speaking of tea, this hotel serves Yorkshire tea, so that almost makes up for the eggs, leather bacon, and undercooked sausages Having read reviews of the food from the fat badger I had hoped for better. Still great staff, comfy room and a breakfast that could be improved. Thank you to your staff for a good welcome and comfortable night. Who cuts black pudding in half btw?

I think this is our 4th stay at the White Hart. We stopped in a deluxe room which was located in the building next door. Fantastic room, and a great breakfast. Always love the Fat Badger.

Only complaint is exsternal bathroom there should be at least a sink and taps in the bedroom or complimtary bottles of water as you can't even make a cupper without taking the kettle to the bathroom other than that it was faultless bed was so comfy we wanted to take it home lol and the breakfast was fantastic although the dinning room was so hot it felt like we were eating in a sauna lol

As Part of the Fat Badger Group this Grade II listed Georgian building in the Monpelier Quarter of the Spa Town Harrogate in North Yorkshire is idyllically located moments away from the International Conference Centre, Valley Gardens and the famous Betty's Tea Room. The Feature Room 217 was well appointed - compact and bijou however, was lacking the spacious expectation due to the room being overwelmed with clutter/furniture , thus requires an erganomic principled approach to achieve an improved efficient and effective fuctioning room to maximise the guest experience. Disappoinment that the guest had to request water for the room from the bar because of the clutter no room for a small/mini fridge. Also please advise the guest to provide their own toiletries - the provision found was totally inadequate. Summary - a comfortable one night stay with polite helpful front of house and housekeeping personnel. The Fat Badger Bar adjacent to the hotel is the perfect English pub providing ambience perfect for a more relaxed evening eating/drinking experience.
