City Barbers

Been a couple of times before and it’s very hit and miss depending who you get. Yesterday when I went the guy rushed through the haircut as quick as possible, his mate flicked the back of my ear in some bad joke, tried to charge me almost double the rate on the board for a simple cut and to top it off was muttering under his breath in another language when questioned about the price. The only reason I give two stars and not one is because one of the barbers previously was skilled and a nice guy however after this experience I won’t be returning. For reference I went on a Wednesday if you want a half decent haircut stick to the weekends.

Hit and miss. Been a few times for myself and my sons with various results. Went today with my eldest son and my cut was okay if a little rushed. My son however got one of the worst haircuts I’ve seen. 2 days before he goes back to school. Totally out of character from the way his hair was when we walked in. It was obvious we were together so the barber should have checked with me before giving a zero back and sides. I was 2 chairs away and didn’t notice until it was too late. A barber should be more aware that their work and understanding what the client wants is an important thing. Won’t return despite them being polite and friendly.

Excellent barbers. Friendly and welcoming. No 🫸 generally and very reasonably priced.

I normally take my boys to city barbers but stopped at a different barber shop on the way home who pretty much butchered there hair I then traveled to city barbers who put there hair right and made 2 very sad boys incredibly happy again ,first class service top hair cuts and a mistake I will never make again amazing thanks city barbers

I always come here and the service I get from here is 1st class, Best barbers in Harrogate and I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else! The lads that work here are absolutely great and always look after me! Highly recommend City Barbers
