Dr G Tran - Rheumatologist in Harrogate, Leeds and Yorkshire

I saw Dr Tran following a fracture to a vertebra in my spine. I needed some advice and reassurance from a specialist as I felt I had been left in a vacuum to deal with my recovery for 3 months. Dr Tran was excellent - he listened to my concerns, explained the X-rays of my spine and signposted me to further useful information. He showed great empathy throughout and his professionalism gave me the confidence to believe that my recovery is on track.

I can see why Dr Tran has so many rave reviews. I have suffered with severe back pain for many years and after seeing various practitioners and not getting anywhere with the NHS, I decided to see DR Tran. It has been the best decision. So far, Dr Tran has gone above and beyond to try and help me. I was feeling very low and desperate being in constant pain all the time, it become all consuming. We are still in the midst of trying to get on top of the pain cycle but I feel much more hopeful that I can reach a positive result with Dr Tran. Having him listen and try his best to help me has honestly made such a positive difference to my life already.

Excellent experience. Duchy facilities were really nice. Dr Tran was brilliant. He listened to what I was saying; quickly came up with a theory and this was confirmed via the diagnostic tests. Treatment followed really quickly and my pain is now just about gone which has made a huge difference to my quality of life. Throughout the process he was kind, explained things clearly and put me at ease. The admin side of things was also really easy with his PA support being very responsive to questions and quick to make arrangements.

Dr Tran took me on as a private patient in 2024, This was after I was diagnosed with an acute rheumatic condition by the GP. Having a specialist rheumatologist to manage the condition has been a good decision. It became quickly clear that Dr. Tran draws on a wealth of experience which inspires confidence. In my case I feel this has speeded progress. Dr Tran is caring and follows up after treatments to check progress. I expect to be off medication in the next 3 months.

I had the great good fortune to be recommended to see Dr Tran by a fellow professional. Having been suffering excruciating pain in my back, arms, wrists and legs, which rendered me virtually immobile, it was Dr Tran who set out a course of treatment and made a follow up call to check on progress. However, this alone hardly begins to explain why I hold this doctor in such high esteem. From the moment I entered his consulting room he made me feel completely at ease and filled me with confidence that all would be well. His professional knowledge, coupled with a most re-assuring manner shone through the detailed and, at times, minute questioning process to establish my 'problem'. No stone was left unturned. There was never any doubt in my mind that I was in the presence of the ultimate professional in whom I could place my trust and wellbeing.
