Marc and Nikki are absolute angels, 1 week before Christmas on my journey down south with my wife, our campervan started vibrating and rattling, we took it to Strayside and how lucky we were to find THE BEST GARAGE ever! Marc got to work identifying the problem, the prop shaft was done in and they did everything they could to try get the part we needed, we ended up going on a mission to a specialist in Leeds with our prop shaft in an Uber and they fixed it and we took it back to Marc who fitted it back on our van. We were able to get back on the road and it really was a Christmas Miracle! We can’t thank you both enough, we’ll be sure to visit you next time we’re up North. 🫶🏼🎄🚐
Had an emergency breakdown and the garage went out of their way to get me back up and running - essential with it being my business vehicle. Massive thank you to Mark who also towed it to their premises. Can’t thank you all enough.
In a camper van that had broken down. RAC to pick us up and drop us off, 6 hours wait for RAC. Mark the owner without, question or hesitation, waited until 2000hr (when he closed at 1730hr) to help get the van in. Then looked at it first light in the morning. Not all heroes wear capes.
Incredible service that has given new faith in mechanics. Trustworthy, professional, amazing mechanics but most of all good people.
Just booked in for an MOT and reminded myself to leave a review on here. Have been using Strayside for years now, Mark and Nikki & crew have covered everything really well over the years with just a phone call they make all effort to help. The location may seem tucked out of the way, but it's less than 10 minutes to the bus/train station to walk, perfect to drop car off and commute. Can't recommend enough, have made motoring challenges much easier to fix and stomach!
