I’ve had a truly horrible experience with this salon. I chose the salon because I had an event and my own hairdresser was fully booked, this salon has been around for decades and I assumed they knew what they were doing.I just needed my highlight regrowth done, what could possibly go wrong?! The stylist took 3hrs to do my full head of highlights, I’ve never had a stylist take 3hrs to do a full head? She did the top of my head last, 25 mins she left the bleach on and 2.5hrs on the back of my head. The hair on the top of my head didn’t lighten properly, it was bright yellow/orange. It was so bad she called the manager over, their decision was to re bleach the top of my hair. It didnt make it better. So I had to go back the next day for lowlights and a toner, another 3 hrs which made 9 hrs in total. Still I was lowkey ginger. The girls in the salon were so sweet and tried their hardest to make things right. The manager was so mortified about what had happened, I actually went home in tears. This happened in October 2025 and due to the breakage caused by the double bleach I’ve had to have my long hair cut and can��t have highlights for a few more months.

As always a great experience. A great style and colour. A welcoming, friendly stylist who listens to my suggestions and works professionally to achieve superb results.

Really happy with this salon – it’s got a relaxed, welcoming vibe and the prices are very reasonable. Booking is usually straightforward with decent availability, and they sometimes offer discounts, which is a nice touch. Shout-out to Amy, who’s brilliant – she listens to what I’m after rather than just pushing trends, but still gives honest, practical advice. Always a good chat too. I leave feeling looked after and loving my hair. Highly recommend!

I visited Peter Gotthard salon today for the first time, and I'm thoroughly impressed. My stylist, Cindy, immediately identified the perfect haircut and color that suited me. I left the salon feeling beautiful and looking 10 years younger. The entire team was welcoming, professional and talented. Amy was amazing, she was really lovely and chatty the whole time and made me feel very welcome. After having a bad experience at another hairdressers she did an amazing job with my hair and made me feel so much better about getting my hair cut. I love my hair and she cut it exactly how I wanted it, I will definitely be going back and would highly recommend.
