Harrogate District Hospital

My 11 year old daughter arrived at A&E with what was found to be a badly broken Radius bone in her forearm. I can’t speak highly enough of the staff that treated her. Due to the severity of her condition, the A&E staff that were due to finish insisted on staying late to ensure she received the care she badly needed. They were all absolutely brilliant, and what was an extremely stressful situation for us was approached with care and professionalism. Thank you to everyone, you were incredible!

Absolutely fantastic care from Harrogate district. Cutting edge, modern and super clean facilities. I’m sat here in a ward after removal of my appendix and can safely say it’s some of the best care I’ve ever received. I have to say your HR dept needs special mention because the staff have been absolutely incredible. Thank you for all the hard work and dedication in such a testing environment. NHS ❤️

Took son with a rubgy acquired knee injury to A&E. We were triaged, x-rayed, booked into the knee clinic and back in the car driving home in 36mins!!! At every point of contact the staff were professional, efficient and friendly. The triage nurse, Jessica, in ED2 in particular was brilliant. She explained what she was doing and what to expect going forward, and so helpful with all questions we threw at her. Thank you!

Each person I interacted with was patient, empathetic, and genuinely invested in my well-being. Their warm and compassionate approach transformed what could have been a stressful situation into a reassuring and positive one. The team's teamwork and high morale were evident, and it is clear they are proud of the work they do. I cannot thank the staff at Harrogate District Hospital enough for the outstanding level of care they provide. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of every single person who works there. This hospital is a true credit to the NHS.

I was meant to have a day surgery operation yesterday 13 11 25. And I was asked if I had anyone to stay with me, for 24 hours. Went I said I have no one, this wasn't accepted easily by the nurse. The question must have been repeated multiple times (are you sure you don't have anybody) they clearly couldn't comprehend, that there is people like myself, that have no one to rely on in this life. It was so demoralising, sole destroying to be looked at and questioned like that . I wish people would have more understanding and compassion for people like myself
