The Duchy Hospital

I came in for spinal Surgery with Mr Deniz, he has been over seeing my treatment for the past year and has been absolutely exceptional. I arrived quite nervous for my Surgery but everyone was so lovely and calm from the porter to the surgical team. I felt completely cared for and fully informed at all times and could not have asked for anything more. The Staff are all amazing and nothing is too much trouble. My daughter attended with me and stayed during my Surgery and she was just as much taken care of as I was. My room was lovely and the food was amazing!! I cannot recommend The Duchy high enough and if your looking for exceptional care then this is the place. Thankyou to each and everyone one of you for all your care and attention your all amazing!!

Special thanks to Wendy for caring for me so well during my stay! And I’m so glad you popped back after your late shift to say goodbye. The theatre team who were incredible when I was super nervous and wanted to run out of the door, my consultant Mr Shapey for his expertise and all the staff I had contact with during my stay ☺️ Nothing was too much. Lovely super clean room food was hot and tasty was treated extremely well. Would 💯 recommend My surgery went well and all the staff from reception to operating theatre to recovery. And all in between was excellent. Thank you for looking after me.

A huge thank you to Alison and Steve for looking after me during my MRI. I was quite anxious beforehand, but their calm, caring nature made the whole experience feel completely manageable. They were also incredibly knowledgeable, which was very reassuring.

I have had a brilliant experience at The Duchy Hospital. ALL the staff worked hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The hospital is clean and quiet and the food is good. The staff are friendly and caring and I felt very safe. My care was delivered efficiently and everything went very smoothly, just as I hoped. I had an excellent experience and I am very grateful to everyone who took such good care of me. Thank you.
