Leeds Road Laundry/Launderette

Needed a laundromat during my visit to Harrogate. Clean and plenty of machines available at 4.30pm for my visit. Washed and dried my clothes well for a reasonable price. Lovely helpful staff member available who will provide change if required during staffed hours.

It is a good place for laundry. A bit expensive but necessary, so we pay for it (I do laundry every week). They charge 5 to 6 pounds for washing and drying depends on how long you want (I pay 4 pounds for 30-32 min). The drying and washing machines work perfectly, but I advise the owner to maintain a cleaning routine, especially on weekends, because it is left unattended and people leave the place a mess. Also, I advise him/her to close the windows or install a hitting because it’s a really cold place for us that have to stay there waiting for the clothes to be washed.

I was charged £20 for two loads of laundry, my machine is broken so I wouldn’t usually use this service and I don’t think I will again. When I got my laundry back I was folding at home and saw that 5 pairs of socks are missing one. I have 5 socks missing and I know 100% they were in the bag when dropped off. The staff at the laundrette are adamant they don’t have them, but I’m fanatically particular with my socks and they have them somewhere, they wouldn’t even check. I know it might seem silly as it’s just 5 missing socks, but I’m disabled and can’t afford to just go and buy replacements for things whenever I feel like it. I will not be using this service again.

They're like our laundry fairy godmothers! We've used their service washes routinely since our baby was born earlier this year and it has been one of the biggest helps ever. Always with a smile on their faces and a warm welcome. Thank you, thank you!

I use the laundry for personal and professional business use. Graham and his team are FABULOUS!! Stuart is a great asset to the business. In fairness all the team are good. Absolute great service, they go the extra mile, exceptional value, clothes washed well and smell really nice, folded well and always bagged in clean bags. Ironing service is available too.
