I prefer their petrol over supermarket as I believe my car runs much better also one of the few places open later for last minute groceries like milk and snacks. Ample number of pumps never has to wait more than a few minutes to fill up and pay. Staff friendly and competent.
I am a taxi driver and I often use this petrol pump to go buy food and get petrol use toilet. When I went in, the woman there, whose hair was dyed, had a very terrible behavior.Today is Friday and the time is 8:20 pm.Today i went inside and reached to use the toilet, so woman on counter started shouting at me, saying why didn't you ask my permission? You can't use the toilet. Then I came back to the counter and I said sorry and then I said can I use it now then she said yes you go and use it but When I got to the door the second time, she started yelling again.she insulted me again in front of the customer present here and said that you cannot use it because you are not a customer.i said How can you treat me like this?I'm Asian, that's why he did this to me.That woman is very rude and her customer behavior is absolutely zero. Now I request all taxi drivers to stay away from this pump because her extremely arrogant behavior is not tolerable.I request the owner of the pump and Manager to please watch this video and listen to the audio in it and You should take notice of this matter.i never use this pump again.
Excellent service and very friendly staff. Great buffet with lots of choice. Unfortunately they had run out of regular diesel but that is not a markdown as there was super diesel to compensate. In all a nice and friendly experience.
Reasonable prices, friendly staff.
Be vigilant when purchasing fuel from here. On the 18/10/2024 I was charged £1.549 per litre (per receipt). I required standard diesel only and not their premium grade. On the receipt it states ‘Diesel’. Either the diesel pumps had been incorrectly stowed ie the pump for standard grade had been stowed in the premium grade holder/dock, I was incorrectly charged for premium grade or their prices for standard grade were actually £1.549. Either way I ended up with no option other than to pay almost £7 more for diesel, and when I mentioned my surprise at the total to the cashier/til operative there was no response other than perhaps agreeing the fuel prices were high. When removing the pump it was taken from the right end of the four pump choices ie from the standard diesel holder/dock. Midway through refuelling I noticed that the display screen stated the aforementioned per litre rate, yet at the time had assumed that although exorbitant, the rate was for standard diesel, since I had retrieved the pump from the standard diesel holder/dock. At this juncture (now) I surmise that the pump was simply in the incorrect holder/dock. Is this then my fault for assuming pumps are placed in the correct corresponding holder/dock or is it the fault of Esso/employees not undertaking such checks on the pumps or realising that a number of customers may have been surprised about the cost of their refuel? Esso, please could you provide me with a contact so that I can discuss this matter further, to clarify what has actually happened here and to reassure me that pumps are not deliberately being incorrectly docked to increase profit.
