Tesco Esso Express

I had a terrible and truly disappointing experience at this petrol station. The staff member at the till was rude and treated me differently because I am Indian. She asked me to step back in a harsh tone, even though I was simply waiting in line like everyone else. She didn’t say “please” or “thank you,” and unlike with other customers, she didn’t even offer me a receipt I had to ask for it myself. It was clear that I was not treated with the same respect or courtesy as others, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. This is not the level of service I expect from Tesco. I left feeling disheartened and disappointed, and I will not be visiting this petrol station again. What a shame

10.10 pm Friday 16th Jan...door was locked staff member was shaking his head mouthing the word closed....supposed to be open til midnight..not happy

Groceries, off-licence, usual Tesco Express fare. Often a fair selection of discounted food before 8pm but otherwise more expensive than Lidl, which is a short walk away.

Just want to say the staff in this Tesco are just so lovely!! Always a friendly smile and chat, so helpful, it is rare thing these days for good customer service, thank you all so much for your lovely service 😊
