Cohens Chemist, Harrogate

Where do I start?? Firstly they have a middle aged woman seems to work part time? but who knows. She is abrupt and bad attitude towards customers, she always seems at the end of her teather and clearly in the wrong job. Next we have the service, always seems to be just one person serving with plenty of staff behind the counter who fail to notice a queue length. When you eventually get served, they struggle to find your prescription and have to ask other staff to locate. They seem snowed under with prescription orders strewn all over the place, the premises seem too small for their needs. No matter what time of day I have visited its always the same story. I changed to this pharmacy from another Cohens due to location after moving home and it's by far the worst chemist I've ever known. I'm going to be forced to change again to one further away simply due to the customer service which is TERRIBLE!!!! I notice they have sign stating they will not tollerate abuse, I can fully understand why they need that probably due to their own fault.

The staff at Cohens have been consistently kind, good humoured and professional, every time I come to collect my prescription. I have also consulted the pharmacist for advice as a first port of call (rather than going to the GP) and this has been a great help, for example when I phoned up with questions about the antibiotics I was on. You can always tell staff are working hard and are extremely busy but they do have time for people and provide an excellent service to our community.

We have had nothing but excellent service from this pharmacy. This week especially, Lottie and Rachel have gone the extra mile to assist me when I’ve not been able to get to the surgery and have needed urgent prescriptions for my husband and myself. As an ex-NHS employee I appreciate how under pressure everyone is in the current situation but all the Cohen’s staff we have come into contact with have been courteous and friendly. Thanks Cohens.

I have nothing but praise for all the staff at this chemist shop. My Doctors' surgery have made numerous mistakes with my repeat prescription requests and the kind people who work at Cohens have very kindly solved all the problems the surgery caused. hey have done so with umour and good grace so take a bow all of you.

Staff always so helpful, nothing is to much for them if you ask They Just need a premise twice the size
