I’m very disappointed with the level of service at this pharmacy. The staff are clearly not trained properly – I was told they couldn’t even find me by my name. Instead, I was asked to provide a barcode or NHS number just to be “located” in their system. It feels ridiculous, almost dystopian, that in 2025 a pharmacy cannot identify a person by their own name. Patients deserve better than to be treated like numbers on a barcode. This is not about technology, it’s about training and awareness. A basic level of customer service should include being able to search for a patient’s record correctly. Instead, I left feeling frustrated and undervalued. I hope management takes this seriously and invests in properly training their employees, because right now the experience is far below acceptable standards.
Doing its best but taking too long and the NHS needs to be more proactive in issuing refundable receipts in general to those who MAY be on the borderline of requiring financial support following complex PTSD cases caused by International RTAs for example (without having to ask every time) in front of other customers / patients - though these are UK side NHS problems and not limited to this particular Pharmacy which is probably doing its best after 14 years of decimated resourcing under to the Tories.
This is an excellent pharmacy doing a great job under major pressure. The staff are unfailingly helpful, and go the extra mile to download urgent scrips and process them as do the pharmacists on duty Highly recommended.
Customers service so rude. Not helpful at all. No ones is happy to pick up medication, at least be friendly to make it easier for people! The doctor told me to go pick up a prescription for pregnancy and I wouldn’t pay for it, the pharmacist judge me so hard and ask to prove that I was pregnant and refused me the medication unless I proved it or pay for it… Sad…
Excellent service always notify me when prescription is ready and will make extra effort if needed urgently. Staff are polite, friendly and informative.
