I visited the pharmacy today (26.1.26) to pick up a prescription for my 10month old. Two patients who came in after me and were seen to long before me. It’s not like I had a huge prescription it was only two items. After 30mins of waiting I asked if my son’s prescription was ready. A dispenser came out and said sorry we will do it now….10minutes later I saw the pharmacist put it on the top bench and just leave it there…I waited a few minutes and then stood up as the pharmacist came round the corner. He had two prescriptions in his hand and I said “is that ?” And he ignored me and purposely called out the other prescription he was holding….clearly a pathetic little power trip he was on. Then he called my sons out and I said “I’ve been waiting 45mins for this prescription” and in an aggressive tone he snapped and said “can’t you see we are busy?”. So I am one of the first in, last served because I’m forgotten about and then reacted to in a way as if it was my fault. Terrible pharmacy and horrible pharmacist on duty today. Will be going out of my way to not return. They need to get organised or shut shop, they are a disgrace.
Never answers the phone!!! Edit... Thank you for the fake response! If you were listening to the feedback you receive, than you wouldn't have so many poor ones... Also! If I could have got into store I would have, but due to disabilities I am unable to do this... I understand that you have customers that come in store, but please don't ignore the ones who can't actively come in and answer the phone (it wasn't just today I haven't been able to get in contact)
I'm starting to lose patience with Day Lewis. All businesses have "staffing issues" but it's been going on for months now. My prescriptions are supposed to go into the 24 hour collection point and I'm supposed to receive a text message. The last twice, having heard nothing for a week or more, I've wandered in and my prescription has been ready behind the counter. Both times, the fact that it wasn't in the machine was blamed on staffing issues and on the second occasion, I was assured it wouldn't happen again. This time around, when I didn't hear anything for a week, I presumed the same thing had happened, so I went and stood for 30 minutes in a queue that stretched around the entire shop. When I finally reached the front, I was told that they'd taken 6 days to scan the prescription into their own system and now, 3 days later (9 days after my GP practice sent them my prescription), it still wasn't ready. Again, staffing issues were blamed. As a former recruiter of pharmacy staff myself, I can tell you that these "staffing issues" aren't especially difficult to solve. Perhaps the primary "staffing issue" is the person who's responsible for ensuring the place is adequately staffed in the first place?
Poor. I took time out of my hectic working day to take unused meds to a pharmacy, parked, walked there, queued up. The miserable assistant in the Day Lewis was uniquely unhelpful. Handed them straight back, because they were still in their packaging. Unhelpful, grumpy, making it harder to do the right thing. Won't be using that pharmacy again.
Very friendly and helpful. Under pressure, but very busy pharmacy. Flu, Covid vaccines very professional and nice staff administrating these services. Weight loss program second to none and professional. Other services offered are dealt with professionally. Slowly on the up.
