Great help with my young family, the staff are always very attentive and when I went in with a cough enquiry for one of my kids they spotted it was more than just a cough. We - on the recommendation of the staff at the pharmacy - attended A&E and the staff their detected a lung infection. My child was diagnosed and treated for a viral lunch infection and pneumonia, and was in hospital for 5 days. This was really an incredible spot from the pharmacy staff and quite possibly saved my child's life. Fantastic help and knowledge consistently from the team at the pharmacy and I'm so very grateful it is on our doorstep. Also worth mentioning how great they were during lockdown, being an essential part of the community. Thank you!

04/12/2025 I popped in today to pick up my prescription about 1 ish... the girl with the dark hair in a ponytail and glasses... behind the counter is always soooo rude... she rudly points at you and says "wait a minute!..." with out you saying anything... she rolls her eyes... she doesn't hand you your prescription... she leaves it on her side of the counter ... and walks off. She always has a really bad attitude. She's the worst one... I hate going in here because of her. That and the empty shell of a "pharmacy" The other girl that works there isn't much better. The larger set lady. She was stood chatting to the grumpy one and ignoring customers, the last time that I went in. I believe I was helped my the pharmacists son... he was very polite and professional... unlike the other two girls. I'm going to go on the app and change pharmacy's as this one is going down hill fast!... I wouldn't recommend this pharmacy...

I can't rate this pharmacy highly enough. My teenage son was in agony with his throat, it was severely swollen he could barely swallow, wasn't eating and his tonsils were covered in white spots, I filled in the online triage for our doctor's surgery who replied saying after reviewing the information and photo provided that "he had a sore throat" and to go to a pharmacy for advice. This felt like we were being fobbed off tbh but I'm glad, because our experience was actually better than going to the doctors. I rang in advance to check someone was free to see him and the lady on the phone was really nice and said yes and to fetch him in. We saw the loveliest man, I think his name was Vui, we didn't feel rushed at all, he took his time, was very thorough and took my son's medical history and checked everything with his doctors records, after a proper consultation he diagnosed acute tonsillitis. He went into detail explaining how and when to take the medicine, explained to avoid spicy and hot food etc and honestly couldn't have been more informative, kind and an all round nice guy. He went and got the tablets, brought them back into the room, gave us a leaflet and advice on what to do if he didn't improve or got worse. We wouldn't have had service like that at the doctor's surgery. My son is now feeling much better, thank you to the team at Starbeck Pharmacy+

Took some Needles that I'd found from my late mum and some that I wanted rid of from my Son to the pharmacy. It was funny that they were happy to get rid of the first lot I took on Thursday 24th April it makes me wonder where they dispose of any sharps. Make your mind up I'm trying to prevent needlestick injuries by disposing of these things safely. There needs to be clearer policy sorted

Really helpful Asian guy that was great at giving me advice on what's best to do with my oil burn blisters and didn't push to sell me something I didn't need , lovely and quiet late afternoon time, just the road itself that was busy
