New Park Post Office

Not one to complain honestly but are the opening and closing hours please?! This is very unclear and everytime I come it’s closed or the Indian man wearing the turban closes early before closing time at least half hour before he should and sends people away because he says he has worked through his break. It’s atrocious customer service! I came the past few days and it’s been closed with the shutters down and no sign to let people know what’s going on. I came again at 4.15pm to a huge queue with only the Indian man in the turban serving. Then when it got down to 5 people… he closed the shutters and sent us packing! It is a complete disgrace. Surely it’s good work ethic to serve the people who have been waiting for so long and leave it at that. It’s not like he is working over his working hours! It stipulates the post office closes at 5.30pm so he has not right closing it at 5pm or earlier! It’s so bad! Why is someone like him working there, how has he got this job?! I suggest people use Leeds Road post office as the staff are incredible there and they will never turn you away. It’s such a shame about Jennyfield as it used to be very good, I can see this closing down soon if staffing issues aren’t addressed. On a side note .. El who has left, the young girl, well she was absolutely brilliant, she was polite and always had time for you. Same with Trudy and John (I know he left). Bring back the good old days and the staff with good work ethics please!

This place is so hit and miss, by hit I mean if it’s open you can view all the freezer food in the isle long queue as you stand there for 45 mins, by miss I mean they’ve not bothered to open as per their PO website published opening hours (Fujitsu issue I presume)! There’s free Co-op WiFi though so that’s a bonus!

Been to use twice and won't ever be returning. 1st time I was told I can't buy euros using a debit card. Today I tried to send a parcel from here, despite the website saying that they were open I carried parcel through the coop to a handwritten sign saying closed for lunch 1pm - 2pm. So perhaps you should amend your opening times to times your actually open!

Arrived after 9 on a Saturday morning to try and beat the queue and it’s still closed. Sign in the shop says it’s open 9.00 - 13.00 not 17.30 but the opening time is obviously wrong too

I’ve been trying to collect a package for over a week, and every day this post office has been closed within the opening hours. The coop staff seem exasperated with it.
