Full re-roof of Arts & Crafts house Rob Moor of R M Contracts was recommended to us by friends who recently had work done. I was immediately struck by Rob’s enthusiasm and knowledge, and willingness to take on something traditional and challenging. Usefully for us, R M Contracts’ team of builders and roofers were able to tackle everything that was needed, including the insertion of structural steelwork and partial rebuilding of the roof structure. The job was complex, involving a significant scaffolding and temporary roof installation, and was done during winter. I found working with Rob’s team hugely enjoyable and rewarding. I think we all decided from the outset, we were going to enjoy the project – it helps! The project came in on budget, on time, and not a drop of water got into the house (which we were living in during the works) while the roof was replaced. Huge thanks to the team for a job well done. The RM Contracts team have done an amazing job in re-roofing 2 adjoining terraced houses. The team were a total pleasure to have on site and couldn't have been more helpful. Most importantly they have done a great job and the roof and the re-pointing look fantastic. The whole process of having a full re-roof was remarkably painless, which can't often be said of such a job. I would 100% recommend.

Accepted a quote at the end of May to fit a velux window and carry out chimney repairs. After being put off several times, I was told that the velux had been ordered on the 7th September. I have heard nothing since. Extremely disappointed as I feel that I have been strung along and would have appreciated a bit of honesty if they didn't want the job. Thankfully I have just had the work completed by another company within 3 weeks of their quote.
