I would like to thank everyone at McCormicks solicitor especially Shah Suhail Ahmed. Shah went above and beyond to see to my case being dealt with in a professional manner. He was very attentive to my case. I was under a lot of stress, he assured me of my worries and dealt with the case in the best way possible with the best outcome. My family and I encountered a sudden egregious sitiation that left us in urgent need for legal assistance. I frantically made calls to any and many firms but the help I needed was immediate and everyone I spoke to had little to no time to even hear me out. Assanine advice and unempathetic apologies became mentally insurmountable, as I was running out of ideas and hope, it is at this point i spoke to Mr Suhail Shah a Lawyer at McCormicks Solicitors, he immediately put mine and my families mind at ease with his kind understanding demeanour. He spoke in plain simple english without using any legal jargon which helped us as we were not well versed in any legal matters at the time. He kept us well informed and was always easy to get hold of, this is an experience I have not had with Law firms/lawyer's very often. The advice and guidance over a number of weeks prevented us from taking matters to court and we managed to overcome our legal problems with Mr Shahs help. I have dealt with Peter Minnikin in my criminal case. He was very unsympathetic with situation. His attitude was very challenging and rarely made himself available to calmly explain the procedures to me. When my case was finally over, he tried to claim more money from Legal Aid and the fees were contested. After the final bill he sent, Legal Aid needed a letter from him to state that he would not claim more money against my case which he never sent. When I became aware of this I contacted and informed him they were waiting on a letter or email from him. After several requests he guaranteed me he would send it but he never has. I have been waiting for several thousands (5kish) to be returned to me which would be nice before Xmas, and have to wait for at least 5 months before Legal Aid can trigger the refund due to him not sending an email. The entire case was dealt with poorly and I would never used him again, particularly for a criminal case which is supposed to be his specialty. Extremely unhappy customer.

Read what you like about Mc cormicks solicitors but, be warned, totally not interested, asked him to defend me said I'd missed appointments but had not been told of them then blames everyone else. Wrote to him twice about additional matters didn't bother replying still waiting. They don't answer the phone, totally disinterested once they Have secured the fees in my opinion. Use at your peril.
